Elena leads the research division and personally supervises the methodology of every study the institute puts forward for publication. Her own work sits at the intersection of adversarial machine learning and network defence, with a focus on making detection models that survive contact with a motivated attacker. She was a postdoctoral researcher in Milan before relocating to Dhaka.
