Background
Nasir spent eleven years inside banking and telecom security before founding CyberX Mentor, most recently as Chief Information Security Officer for a regional financial group where he rebuilt the security operations function from scratch. He started the institute after repeatedly failing to hire people with practical skills — the conclusion was that the training had to be built rather than bought. He remains hands-on: he chairs the curriculum review each quarter and personally leads enterprise consulting engagements above a certain size.
